The Panther, 15 Turin Street, Bethnal Green E2

At 33 Union Street, Church Street in 1839 & 1856; the 'Panther' was on the corner of Turin St and New Tyssen St, the photo is looking towards Bethnal Green Road, the trees in the distance are surrounding 'St Matthews Church' the area between the pub and the Bethnal Green Road was wiped out in the blitz in 1941 killing amongst others my Grandfather and his two sons, the pub survived and yep! they pulled it down 2-3 years ago. ***
